OUR WHYS AND HOWS
Rescuing animals is something we have done privately for decades. Dogs, cats and horses. This is not new to us. What is new is opening it up.
When we truly sat down and thought about it, we realised it was never meant to be carried alone. It takes a village. People want to help, but many are not in a position to do so physically. We have access to the property. What we need now is the people.
WHY FOR PEOPLE AS WELL?
In 2025, our community experienced a devastating loss. A sister, a daughter, my best friend and so much more. It changed me deeply and opened my eyes to how heavy things have become in our regional community and how hard support can be to find.
Animals helped me. Not always in big ways, sometimes simply through caring for them and keeping my mind steady. Instead of falling into a cycle of sadness, I chose to honour her by creating something that makes a difference.
You are not alone. You truly are not.
Together with these animals who are looking to us for love and guidance, we can stand side by side and create change.

Mission
We are starting from the ground up. We are incredibly fortunate to have access to a beautiful property owned by Gav. Right now we have horses and a pig who rely on us. Establishing security for them is vital. They are our foundation.
Once they are secure financially, we will grow. We will establish basic amenities for volunteers and community members. From there we will begin connection programs, volunteer opportunities and community visits.
In the near future, we plan to begin a rehoming program for companion animals, building facilities that meet and exceed welfare standards.
All of this takes community, perseverance and passion.
We know we can do it with your support.
Vision
A non judgemental safe place where anyone can come, no questions asked. You can spend time with the animals, have a chat, sit quietly, or potter in the gardens. Whatever you need to ground yourself, you can do it here.
For the animals, it is a safe place too. A place to learn to trust again. No expectations. Just love and healing.
We want to foster acceptance, diversity, skill building, self care and real change.
